I don't mean for this blog space to be a diary BUT.....I would be remiss, art-wise ( and that's what the blog & web-site are about ) if I didn't mention the dance piece I saw Saturday by Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker at the Walker Art Ctr here in Minneapolis. This woman, like the 'universal soldiers' that were the content of her piece, put her own body ON THE LINE.

Solo, for an hour her stage-craft and movement was high-art. that's all I can say.

I thank her for comming to this town - she is the bravest artist of this generation.
